A few minor notes

Although I have been maintaining/keeping an eye on the Municipal Code Book and Archives blog for coming up on a year now, the rest of these containers to The Midlothian Illinois Record are only a few weeks old and are in need of a variety of improvements I have scheduled over the next few weeks.

It was brought to my attention the format of this Index was not readable due to the quantity of links drawfing the plain text tags, so I have swapped in a new template and hope this helps you in your exploration of The Midlothian Illinois Record.

In addition, there have been questions as to why so many separate identities are being brought together into one site rather than simply rambling on and on in one container.

The decision was based on knowing not necessarily every visitor here is interested in my own personal views and opinions.  Even with tagging and categories opportunities via WordPress technology, I believed it would still fall significantly short in providing me a format to provide any visitor a variety of distinctly separate forums regarding Midlothian, Illinois.  For example, the Archives and Code Book blogs are crafted in as neutral of a perspective as possible, whereas Midlothian Politics and the Midlothian Mystery Series are written more as opinion and commentary.  If you are still cornfused about how The Midlothian Illinois Record “works,” click here to see summaries of all Active MIR containers.

Strong and harsh as my perspectives and positions might come across from time to time, I also know that there is always room for adjustment of perspective…no matter how confident I am that such previously stated perspectives and objections are “right.”  I am most appreciative for the feedback I have been receiving (yes…both the bad and the good!) and look forward to continuing my efforts with The Midlothian Illinois Record.
